Two children and six other COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from the Osun State isolation centres on Monday, May 4.
This was announced by the state Commissioner for Health, Dr Rafiu Isamotu, on a Facebook post on Monday.
Isamotu who disclosed the patients’ genders to be three males and five females, stated that the children are two and half years, and three years old.
He wrote:
“#Covid-19: Osun update as at May 4th, 2020.8 patients discharged today; 3 males, 5 females. 2 children among them (2 1/2 yrs and 5 yrs old) No new case today, 1 result awaited, 36 total confirmed cases, two active cases and three deaths.”
