American actor and producer, Tyler Perry says he is going through a midlife crisis.
The recently-listed billionaire made the revelation in a post on Instagram early Thursday.
Tyler Perry lamented being single at 51 and wondering how the next chapter of his life would turn out.
Despite this, the Hollywood heavyweight promised to walk with God, be the best father to his son – Aman, and continue to be his best.
“This is what a midlife crisis looks like.
“I’m 51, single and wondering what the next chapter in my life will look like.
“Whatever it looks like I’m going to walk with God, be the best father and man I can be, hold my head up high, and try to look my best doing it!!
“In a world with so much sadness, please try and stay in the good! Merry Christmas and let’s look forward to 2021 bringing us peace!” Tyler Perry wrote, sharing a photo of himself after a work-out.
The Madea creator had been in a long-time relationship with Ethiopian-American partner, Gelila Bekele, 34.

The media mogul was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. He shared a close relationship with his mother, who died in 2009. He is estranged from his father, who he accused of beating him to the point that he attempted suicide.
