Spanish champions, Barcelona have crashed out of the UEFA Champions League after a shocking 4-0 defeat to Liverpool in the semi final second league clash at Anfield on Tuesday night.

Dutch striker, Divock Origi netted a brace as Barcelona squandered a 3-0 first leg advantage secured at the Camp Nou last Wednesday.

Substitute Georginio Wijnaldum also grabbed a second half brace three minutes apart to help the Merseysiders reach a second consecutive UCL final after losing the 2018 final to Real Madrid.

Barcelona’s loss marks the first time in six seasons that a Spanish side would miss out of the UCL final, with the second semi final clash to feature Tottenham Hotspur of England and Ajax Amsterdam of The Netherlands.
