Nigerian ladies based in the United Kingdom do not have to return home to find suitable spouses, a male fellow UK resident has advised.
The man, who is popularly known as Oluomo of Derby, is the President of the Nigerians in UK (NIUK) Community.
He spoke in reaction to a trending video in which a UK-based make-up artist said she planned to return to Lagos, Nigeria to “find my man”.
She said she was “tired of the bums we call me in this London”.
“You find one that is attractive, they have nothing to offer: fine boy, empty pocket.
“(Laughing) And then you find one with full pocket and a little bit of something to offer, he is not good looking and he is still disrespectful,” the make-up artist said.

Reacting, the NIUK President said there were still Godfearing Nigerian gentlemen in the UK from whom the ladies could choose.
“Enter the NIUK community and you will meet many good Nigerian men based in the UK 🇬🇧.
“Gentlemen, God fearing, Hardworking, Loyal, Honest, Good communicator, Respectful, Commitment-minded & Accountable.
“In the bedroom department you will be asking for more,” Oluomo of Derby said.
