Reynhard Sinaga has been found guilty for raping over 130 young men in Manchester and sentenced to life imprisonment.
According to reports, Reynhard Sinaga, 36, a mature Indonesian Student, is believed to have abused at least 195 men over two and a half years after luring them to his flat under the guise of being a “good samaritan”,
Reynhard’s modus operandi was drugging and attacking victims after they passed out. All but four of the 48 victims whose cases came to court were raped.
Reynhard has been named as the most prolific rapist ever to be caught in Britain. He was found guilty of 159 counts of sexual offenses against 48 different men.
However, the police believe that his victims are likely to have been more, having found evidence linking him to assaults on as many as 190 different people.
Reynhard would reportedly approach men in the early hours of the morning outside nightclubs in Manchester, he would start a conversation with them and afterwards offer them somewhere to sleep or promise them extra alcohol.
Once they follow him to his flat, he would lace their drinks with a drug, most likely GHB. Afterwards, he would film himself raping the men while they slept. His victims were mostly unaware they had been assaulted.
Reynhard’s attacks were finally discovered in 2017, after an 18-year-old victim woke up at 6 a.m while being assaulted. The victim managed to fight him off, and was able to grab his white Iphone before leaving the apartment.
His victim immediately went to the police with the phone, where they discovered 3.29 terabytes of graphic materials on the phone which is equivalent to 250 DVDs. In some cases, the assaults lasted for hours while one particular assault took place for eight hours.
According to Britain’s Crown Prosecution Service, Reynhard’s victims were usually heterosexual and mostly students. His victims were seen snoring while in some cases, they were vomiting while he raped them.
Police believe that he started the attacks in 2005 and continued up until June 2017.
“Reynhard Sinaga is the most prolific rapist in British legal history,” Ian Rushton, North West Deputy Chief Crown Prosecutor, said. “His extreme sense of sexual entitlement almost defies belief and he would no doubt still be adding to his staggering tally had he not been caught.
Reynhard would reportedly keep his victims belongings as trophies and would look the men up on Facebook after assaulting them.

One of his victims said: “That night was just like any night out with my mates. What I didn’t know was that there was a monster lurking in the background waiting to take advantage of my drunken state,”
“I want Sinaga to acknowledge what he has done to me and show some remorse, but I doubt that will ever happen.”
Reynhard, who is originally from Indonesia was born into a wealthy family. He was a frequent church goer and studied various university courses while living in Manchester.
Reynhard was studying for a PhD at the University of Leeds.
During his sentencing, the Judge said: “It is almost beyond belief that someone who could profess some Christian faith could at the same time have been committing such wicked and evil crimes,”
“You are an evil serial sexual predator who has preyed upon young men who came into the city center wanting nothing more than a good night out with their friends,”
