materials to meet the standard and at reduced cost, despite some of the challenges being faced by the workshop.”
He said

Olorunsola further noted that the tables would be useful in animal and pet autopsy, among other uses.

He urged other Heads of Departments and Deans of other Faculties to emulate the Head of the Department of Veterinary Anatomy and Dean, Veterinary Medicine by patronising the workshop for equipment that might cost the University more to produce or purchase outside.

He expressed gratitude to the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Sulyman Abdulkareem, for the opportunity of producing the dissecting tables locally, describing the products as
important and impactful to the entire Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.

Receiving the tables, Jaji said he was highly impressed and delighted with the product and affirmed that the workshop had delivered quality products as demanded.

He said that the new equipment was a great addition to the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and the Department of Veterinary Anatomy.

He added that it was one of the things that gave the department a great advantage during the recent visit of a National Universities Commission (NUC) accreditation team.

The Acting Head of the Department said;

”I am very happy about the project and the quality that the workshop has delivered. The tables are of high quality and procured at a cheaper price than the ones online. Research on same table was carried out online and was quite expensive.”

The dean then charged the department to look inward for what could be produced locally.
