From massive social media backlash to the risk of losing her job, there seems to be no end in sight to the travails of Sharna Walker, 24, who was caught on video using racist slurs and pouring invective on a black male bouncer, as the pub where the incident occurred has barred her for life.

The bouncer had denied her access to the pub, Figure of Eight in Broad Street, Birmingham on Saturday evening.

In a 25-second footage sighted by The Herald, the lady can be seen talking aggressively at the bouncer who calmly instructed her to get away from him.

“I don’t give a shit,” she repeatedly tells the bouncer, who repeats his instructions for her to step back.

However, this seems to provoke Sharna Walker, who violently pushes him.

Before walking off, she shouts at the bouncer and then begins to call him “moron”, “fucking nigga”, and “black cunt”.

She can also be seen spitting at him.

After receiving massive backlash on social media, Sharna Walker denied being racist, claiming that she was drunk when she went on the tirade.

But a spokesman for the pub said it would not grant admittance to the lady in the future.

“We can confirm the incident took place outside the pub on Saturday night.

“The woman in question had been ejected for her behaviour. She spat her drink towards the member of door staff and also racially abused him.

“She also caused issues as she was leaving. This behaviour is completely unacceptable and the woman is barred for life.

“We will also be pursuing her for criminal damage and passing on the CCTV and bodycam footage to the police,” the spokesman said.

Social media users had identified her as a staff of Worcester Bosch, a heating and hot water products manufacturer.

Bosch denied ever directly employing Sharna Walker, saying she was a staff of a company it contracted for cleaning services.

“The contractors have confirmed that she was dismissed by them on 17th May 2019. Our thoughts are with the victim of this hurtful and very public attack.

“We are truly saddened at the social media attack directly unfairly at our brand. We confirm that we have zero tolerance for racist behaviour, both within and outside of the workplace,” the company said.

Sharna Walker was later detained by West Midlands Police, which said it had begun an investigation into the case.

“We’ve arrested a woman on suspicion of racially abusing a pub doorman in Birmingham city centre on Saturday night (22 May).

“The woman was detained at 1pm today after she attended a police station at our request.

“It’s alleged the 24-year-old, from Worcester, used racist language towards the member of security staff outside the Figure of Eight in Broad Street at some time between 10pm and 11.30pm.

“She’s also accused of racially abusing another man who was stood near the pub entrance and earlier damaging furniture inside the premises.

“She remains in police custody for questioning,” The Sun UK quoted a spokesman for the police as saying on Monday.
