President Muhammadu Buhari has been advised to adopt radical measure in fight against corruption for his administration’s anti-corruption drive to succeed.

Senator Jeremiah Useni representing Plateau-South stated this in his house in Jos, Plateau state while addressing some crowd during the Independence Anniversary.

DailyTrust reports that the retired officer said depending on rule of law to prosecute treasure looters can only set them free.

“Public officers stole a lot of money. As far as I am concerned, such people need to be dealt with the very way Jerry Rawlings did in Ghana.”

The PDP senator noted that the anti-corruption crusade of President Muhammadu Buhari must be supported by all irrespective of political affiliation.

“We must support what President Buhari is doing. We must recover stolen funds.”

He added that PDP members found wanting should be treated severely to serve as deterrent to others public office holders.

He urged President Buhair to adopt Rawlings method in dealing with corrupt officials.

Jerry Rawlings’ led revolution in Ghana through a military coup in 1997 saw the execution of eight senior military officers and two former head of states.
