Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has addressed mounting speculation about his future, stating that any decision about his next move will be made in the best interest of all parties involved.
Currently on loan at Turkish giants Galatasaray from Napoli, Osimhen has enjoyed a prolific season, attracting serious interest from top European clubs including Chelsea, Manchester United, and Paris Saint-Germain. However, fresh reports indicate that the Super Eagles forward has narrowed his preferences down to just two clubs: Juventus and Barcelona.
Despite the transfer noise, the 26-year-old remains grounded. Speaking to Turkey’s NTV following Galatasaray’s 2-0 win over Samsunspor in the Super Lig over the weekend, Osimhen expressed gratitude to the club and its supporters.
“There are always rumors about me, but I live in the moment. Right now, I’m enjoying all of this,” he said. “The fans have supported me incredibly—not just me, but also my teammates and my family. The best decision for everyone will be made. But Galatasaray will always have a place in my heart.”
Osimhen’s comments come amid a remarkable season that has seen him tally 29 goals and 6 assists in 33 appearances, making him one of Europe’s most sought-after forwards.
While his loan spell in Istanbul is set to end this summer, Galatasaray fans continue to hope for an extended stay. Club president Dursun Özbek has previously hinted at the possibility of trying to make the move permanent, though financial constraints may complicate negotiations.
For now, Osimhen appears focused on finishing the season strong, but his next chapter promises to be one of the most closely watched transfer sagas of the summer window.
