An Instagram user, @derumours has just shared a devastating video of a dead customs officer who was shot dead by his colleague while on duty. The officers were said to have been stationed along the Lagos/ Ibadan expressway, stopping cars to conduct searches. However, a particular road user was asked to pay a sum of N300,000 as customs charges for his new car. When he refused, an argument ensued between them, and one of the officers became angry.
As he made an attempt to aim his rifle at the road user, he shot his other colleague instead, killing him the process. The incident caught the attention of other road users who can be heard saying that the customs officer deserved to be killed.
