Photos and Videos have emerged showing Nigeria’s prolific entertainer, Davido, getting ready for NYSC and showing off his uniform,
The National Youth Service Corps is a compulsory program undertaken by every Nigerian usually after their university degree.
It is for a period of one year and most times partakers are posted to various states in the federation to serve the country in different capacities.
The program was introduced in 1975 and was done to promote unity in a country recovering from a civil war. During the one year service, participants have a chance to experience a whole new culture in another part of the country and therefore appreciate the concept of unity even more.

Davido shared a photo of himself in his NYSC uniform on his Instagram page and he captioned it: “Otondo OBO … 
#Nysc.. tying up every loose end ! 
”
There was also a video, though this one was shared by Tunde Ednut. Davido is in the video showing off his NYSC uniform and preening for the camera.
Ednut captioned it: “Davido just registered for NYSC. Does he really need it? This guy get plan. He will still join politics one day. I’m sure this is all preparation. Mark it, I said this in 2018”

Tunde Ednut might not be far off the mark. The Adeleke family where the singer comes from is a very powerful family in the political space. The singer’s uncle, Isiaka Adeleke, was the first civilian governor of Osun state and his other uncle, Ademola Adeleke, is also a Senator.
With this in mind, it is quite possible that Davido wants to go through the political route and getting his NYSC ensures that if he does decide to go that way, he would not have any issues.
