Video: Davido Performs At Atiku’s Port Harcourt Rally

Multiple-award winning music artiste, Davido today held the mammoth crowd that gathered at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential campaign rally in Port Harcourt, Rivers State on lockdown as he performed several of his popular songs.

Davido, who has not hidden his support for the PDP presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, sang popular songs such as “Dami Duro” and others.

To conclude his electrifying performance, Davido chanted “PDP!” as he walked off the stage and the spellbound crowd responded enthusiastically with the party’s slogan: “Power!”

The DMW record label boss has continued to root for the PDP since publicly backing his uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke in his unsuccessful bid to become governor of Osun State in September 2018.

He also publicly declared on his Twitter handle that he has been getting a lot of threats, apparently due to his support for the party.

This was after he called on fellow entertainers to use their platforms to encourage active participation of Nigerians in the nation’s political affairs.

He equally encouraged Nigerians to go out and vote and also defend their votes in the forthcoming general election.
