Goveronor of Ekiti, Ayo Fayose has officially made his declaration to be the presidential candidate of his party, the Peoples Democratic Party in 2019.
Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State says God has destined him to lead Nigeria also promised to fight corruption if elected.
He said he remained the best candidate of the party having defeated two incumbent governors in his state.
Apart from that he also boasted that he is the most experienced governor having served under three Presidents.
“By the grace of God, I am the longest-serving governor in Nigeria today, having served with three Presidents – Obasanjo, Jonathan, and now Buhari,” Fayose declared.
Recall that hearld.ng reported that Fayose Chief Press Secretary, Mr Idowu Adelusi said in a statement that the Ekiti Governor is seeking to contest the 2019 presidential election on the platform of the Peoples Democratic party (PDP).
