Awolowo Road in the highbrow Ikoyi area of Lagos was partly taken over by flood following torrential rainfall yesterday and a follow-up today.
In a video currently circulating on social media, motorists can be seen stuck in traffic as the road was completely submerged.
Popular Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw, who shared the video, could not help but sigh at the sight.
Flooding after rainfall remains one of the major challenges facing Lagosians, especially commuters, who already battle perennial traffic congestion on daily basis.
