With the help of the country’s police force, Ghana Immigration Service has apprehended more than seventy Nigerian women, alongside seven Ghanaians and one Togolese. According to Ameyaw Debrah, a Ghanaian journalist, the arrested women are said to be involved in prostitution.
Ameyaw equally reported that while the Ghanaians will be prosecuted in the country, the Nigerians will be deported.
