A man, Uche Agada, has taken to Twitter to share the tale of his sister, Clementina, who was allegedly beaten to death by her husband in Ebonyi.
The incident further sheds light on the menace of domestic violence plaguing the country.
Agada said that his sister succumbed to the cold hands of death in Ameka community, Ezza South Local Government Area of the state on Saturday following severe beating from her husband.
He shared a video of the unfortunate woman’s last moments and called on former Education Minister, Obiageli Ezekwesili and Police Reforms Advocate, Segun ‘Sega’ Awosanya to help fight for justice for his slain sister.
Agada wrote, “I have begged her to leave the abusive marriage but she will tell me ‘my husband is not a bad man, it’s just bad temper’. Now this is the result. Pls @obyezeks @segalinkI demand justice for her”.
