A young seemingly depressed Nigerian graduate has set his original BSc certificate, as well as his Youth Service certificate ablaze, claiming he has failed to secure meaningful employment after his graduation.

The man, whose known name is Korede, recorded the entire process on his phone before he sent it to the Linda Ikeji news site for publication.

In the video, he can be seen talking negatively about the country before he eventually razed down his certificates.

According to Korede, he graduated at 23 years-old after studying at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho, Oyo State but the country’s situation has not helped him make any progress since the time.

He equally stated that he tried to gain entry into a Canadian school for his post-graduate degree but even after being given an admission, his financial status could not make him meet up with the school’s requirements.
