VIDEO: Osun State Lawmaker Allegedly Caught Bathing Naked In The Market

Videos have emerged on Social Media showing an Osun State House of Assembly Lawmaker, Hon. Timothy Owoeye bathing naked in the market.

The lawmaker who represents Ilesa West in the Osun State House of Assembly was apprehended by some night guards at Osunjela, a satellite town in Osogbo.

It is suspected that he was there for ritualistic purposes.

With elections looming, it can be speculated that people with fetish inclinations would be so moved to perform rituals to guarantee them victory in the polls.

There has been a huge reaction from people online over the video with many unhappy at the development

A user called Tunmise Reformer said: “They want to use Timothy Owoeye to pull Gboyega Oyetola down, they have forgotten that ILERIOLUWA can never be pull down. Awon dìdìrìn.”

Agunbiade Timothy also commented: “Hon. Timothy Owoeye, who is the current Majority leader at Osun state house of assembly was caught by some night guards, bathing at night in a public place… APC is a goner in Osun state”

Some people were of the opinion, however, that the lawmaker has a right to bathe anywhere he wants and that he has a right to practise his religion.

Divaviva111 said: “Hon Timothy Owoeye Has His Personal Right To Liberty To Bath Anywhere He Choses even In The Market Square…Is It your Baff?'”

Aisha Idi-Ileke said: “Why is Honorable Timothy Owoeye being reprimanded? Was he hurting anybody? Is religion not meant to be respected?”

 

There have also been rumours that he had human blood on him, but this could not be verified. There were also other rumours saying that he mentioned being directed to do it by Osun State Governor Rauf Aregbesola, but this also, cannot be verified.

In the video, he was also begging the security men to spare him and not expose him.
