A video has emerged of the moment a white American lady condemned her father for calling colored people “animals”.
In the 3:56-minute video, the lady who has not been identified can be heard in a heated argument with her parents.
Her dad, who can be heard but not seen, accuses black people of only “sucking up” the system, dealing in drugs and joining gangs.
Replying, the lady says, “No, they have been oppressed. They’ve not been given the same opportunities that you and I have had.”
When her father proceeds to call colored people animals, the visibly-agitated lady vehemently kicks, saying, “No matter what, that’s not okay. Racism is not okay.”
Her mother, who also can’t be seen but heard, says she cannot understand the fuss over Black Lives Matter as cops kill more white persons than blacks.
When the lady threatens to show videos of police brutality against black protesters, her mother calls her “uninformed”.
The mother says, ” In 2017, 457 white people were shot to death by the police in the United States.
“223 were black.”
Replying, the lady says, “76 percent of the population is white; 13 percent is black.
“If they are being killed at this same rate by police officers, the rate of black people being killed would be 8.9. But it’s not; it’s 24 percent.
“The rate of white people being killed should be about where it is. So they (blacks) are being killed at a higher rate.”
