Footage has emerged of the moment an armed robber attempted to rob a shop owner but his solo operation went spectacularly wrong.
In the 1:01-minute video circulating on social media, the thief can be seen getting into the shop, pointing a gun at the shop owner and instructing him to hand over all the money in the cash register.
Everything appears to be going according to plan until the thief gets too close to his target and the shop owner attempts to dispossess him of the gun.
After a wild struggle, the shop owner, who is physically bigger, takes possession of the weapon and the hunter becomes the hunted.
The thief first attempts to run out of the shop but thinks better of it after gauging the shop owner’s disposition.
He then begins to plead with the shop owner not to shoot him and not to call the cops.
