Video: Student Arrested After Boasting About Bank Robbery in YouTube

Hannah Sabata was arrested for allegedly robbing Cornerstone Bank in Waco, Nebraska. It wasn’t hard for the police to connect Sabata to the crime being that she posted a video on YouTube describing the crime and flashing her earnings.

Sabata, a 19-year-old student from Stromsburg, Nebraska posted a video titled “Chick Bank Robber” and in less than a week received over 7,000 views.

In the seven-minute clip above, Sabata has Greenday’s “Live Without Warning” playing as the soundtrack self-snitching video. She flashed wads of cash along with incriminating handwritten notes and captions like “I stole a car.” She also says that she robbed a bank with the help of “a gun, a pillowcase, and a note,” and later claims to be a “victim of the government.”

Maybe the trill of the crime caused Sabata to make a video, but it clearly was not wise to post it to YouTube seeing as how she had plans for the money: Sabata had intentions of paying off student loans and then going on a “shopping spree” Additionally, her description closely fit the perpetrator from the bank surveillance tape.

According to Omaha.com, all the money was recovered from the robbery except $30. Sabata is currently being held York County Jail.
