The United Bank of Africa, UBA security guard who returned the sum of $10,000 he found has opened up on why he returned the sum which belonged to a customer of the bank.

Recall that a few weeks ago, the financial institution’s security guard became an overnight celebrity after the CEO of the company, Tony Elumelu took to his social media page on Instagram to share his story and reward him.

The bank’s security man identified as Mohammed Ogbanago who works at the Oba-Akran, Ikeja branch of the United Bank for Africa (UBA) in an interview with SaharaReporters
said part of the reason he returned the money was due to the comment made by the former British Prime Minister, David Cameron.

Recall that Cameron had weeks ago referred to Nigeria as a “Fantastically Corrupt” nation.

Mohammed added that his action was aimed at proving David Cameron wrong.
