Award winning and one of the most recognized Hollywood actresses who recently added an Oscar award to her shelf has opened up on her life growing up.
The beautiful record-breaking actress shared her grass to grace story about growing up and becoming who she is today in a video which surfaced online following the Oscar awards.
Viola Davis when asked in the video what was going though her head said: “This is the first time in my life that I’ve stepped back and I’m gonna try not to cry now all of a sudden…
She continued: “I can’t believe my life. You know, I mean my sister is here somewhere and I grew up in poverty,” the actress at this point burst into tears.
She added on stage: “you know, I grew up in apartments that were condemned and rat infested and I just always sort of wanted to be somebody and I just wanted to be good at something. So this is sort of like the miracle of God.”
