There was a report only a few days ago that the price of tomatoes had gone up exponentially and was being speculated as being as much as a 1000% increase in Jos and its environs.
It has been suggested that this could be because of the seasons as tomatoes are generally a dry season fruit and therefore don’t do so well when the rains start.
The inflation of the tomato might have hit even Lagos now with singer Waje complaining about the state of affairs.
The singer took to her Instagram to bemoan the high price of the commodity. You can see her comment below.
