War against internet scam: EFCC apprehends 5 suspects in Port Harcourt

Officers of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Port Harcourt have secured the arrest of five suspected fraudsters on Wednesday, 13th of February. The operation was carried out as a result fo the intel the commission received about the activities of the five young men who stay at AlconEstate area of the state.

Names of the suspects include Collins George, Isilabo Emenike Ulu, Kelvin Ogbonna, Richard Uduma, and Uchenna Samuel Nwogu.

Some of the items recovered from them are five laptops, eight mobile phones, one Toyota Highlander car, Internet modems, ATM cards, two external hard disk drives, International passports, checkbooks, and some other documents.

While parading the suspects, EFFC spokesperson in the state explained that the suspects will be charged to court soon.
