The Presidency has blasted the United States Government over the inclusion of Nigeria on its Special Watch List for tolerating severe violations of religious freedom. The Presidency through Femi Adesina told the US government to mind its business and stop meddling in affairs where it has no concern.

Femi Adesina, Special Assistant to President Buhari on media and publicity has accused the US government of always interfering in matters where it has no concern after the United States placed Nigeria, alongside Uzbeskistan, Russia, Cuba on Special Watch List (SWL) for violating the religious freedom of citizens

He made this known during “Sunday Politics”, a popular political programme on Channels TV

“In international relations, you respect the internal affairs of other countries. The U.S. itself has enough to chew solving its own problems not to talk of poke-nosing into that of another country.”

“No man, no country, nobody has appointed them the policeman of the world, let them face their own issues”, Mr Adesina said.
