Rahma Indimi, daughter of billionaire oil Magnate, Mohammed Indimi has shut down rumours of separation with her estranged husband, Mohammed Babangida, son of Nigeria’s former military leader.
The rumour mill in 2016 went into overdrive after reports that the 16-year-old marriage between Rahma and Mohammed had hit the rocks.
Rumour mongers further said the couple were involved in a messy fight for the custody of their children.
However, the 2020 sallah celebration caused heads to roll after an online publication accused Rahma of cropping out her step-children in a family photo she posted on her Instagram page.
Rahma celebrated Sallah in the home of her husband’s family Ibrahim Babangida alongside Umma, Mohammed’s new wife.
The children of both women allegedly took a photo posing with their grandfather. However, the online media claimed Rahma posted a doctored picture on social media that did not show Umma’s children.
Denying the accusations, Rahma disclosed she had reconciled with her husband who does not like social media attention. She added that she did not have the permission from her co-wife to post her children’s photos on Instagram.
She said:
How is this even news Kaiiii
anything to make Money Abi well, first of all there are 3 of my children in the picture not 2, secondly I do not have my co wive’s permission to post her children and Muhammed specifically told me no social media.
muhammad and I have reconciled and we are In a good place so please stop sh**t stirring.”
Sources close to the family told LIB , the northern couple began to make reconciliation moves late last year.
