We’ll kill other Greenfield University students by Tuesday if… – Bandits

The abductors of the 23 students of Greenfield University, Kaduna have vowed to kill the remaining 17 captives by Tuesday, May 4 if their demands were not met by then.

Recall that the students and some members of staff were abducted from the institution’s premises on April 20.

It was an atmosphere of mourning across the nation when five of the students turned up dead a few days later.

The leader of the bandits behind the attack, Sani Jalingo said that N100 million and ten motorcycles must be provided as ransom to secure the release of the Greenfield University students.

Jalingo gave a one-day ultimatum for the demands to be met or the remaining 17 students, comprising 15 females and 2 males – would be killed.

According to him, either the Kaduna State Government or the parents of the students meet the demands by Tuesday or trucks would be used to evacuate the corpses of the students.

He disclosed that the families of the remaining students have paid N55 million to his group so far.
