John Henry, Liverpool FC owner has made it clear that Arsenal needs to increas its offer of £40 million for Luis Suarez. Mr. Henry made his feelings known via a post on his twitter page which read, “What do you think they’re smoking over there at Emirates?”
The post came hours after Arsenal made the substantial offer. The owner of the club is however not impressed and intends to see Wenger and the rest of the management team at Arsenal increase the offer to meet the star player’s current valuation which stands heftily at £50 million.
Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers said is also determined to keep Suarez, who scored 30 goals in 44 appearances last season.
According to BBC, Suarez wants to leave Anfield to play for a Champions League club despite only signing a new long-term deal last summer.
