Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, has revealed her reason for going under the knife sometimes last year during an interview with BBC News Pidgin.
The Mother of one had revealed her intentions at the time but never discussed her reasons until now.
In the interview which features some other Nigerian women who wanted to remain anonymous, Tonto explained how giving birth to her first child increased the size of her stomach, making her feel uncomfortable whenever she stepped out in slim fit clothing.
She stated that after the surgery, her confidence rose again and she has been advocating for women who don’t feel comfortable with their bodies to undergo surgical procedures to fix them.
The video as shared by BBC Pidgin equally featured some plastic surgeons who specialize in helping men and women reconstruct their bodies.
