Why I may never collaborate with Tiwa Savage – Yemi Alade

Afropop singer, Yemi Alade, has revealed she might never do a music project with Tiwa Savage.

In an interview with Ndani TV, Yemi said a collaboration might not attract positive reactions from the public.

She said, “it’s unfortunate the troubles and feelings that people keep stirring on our way, it probably will never allow us to have a collaboration because you’re not sure if the outcome will be positive or will be overrun or will be shunned by all the fights.”

“When we do music, we do it so people can be happy, so when we do a song together, what are we fueling? What are we encouraging? That’s the most important question when I do collaborations, there is an aim. I think what would be would be,” Alade said.

In December 2018, the duo had engaged in a heated war of words on social media, after Alade claimed some female artistes enlarge their buttocks in photos to deceive fans.

Although the two singers don’t say it in clear terms, it is apparent there is a silent rivalry between them.

Meanwhile, Yemi Alade recently gave a condition of partnership with Tiwa Savage to make a song, saying “If it is the will of God (collaborating with Tiwa Savage).“
