In an interview on F&S Uncensored, Pheelz revealed that the initial Finesse track he dropped with BNXN had Omah Lay’s verse included in it.

Recall that Pheelz launched himself as an artist and producer with the Finesse track which dropped last year, 2022. He featured the stellar BNXN on the track and went on to release several versions of the record after its massive streams.

Pheelz disclosed that prior to dropping the original Finesse featuring Omah Lay and BNXN, he realised the former artist was going to drop his own record featuring Justin Bieber, Attention, on the same day.

He stated that reaching out to Omah Lay to settle the issue and break to him that he would be taking his verse off, the artist was rather cool about it and had no issues with it.

Pheelz further stated that he might eventually drop the Omah Lay’s version of the record some day, given he already had a compilation of different artists’ version of the song— including that of Reekado Banks.

In the interview, the producer and artist equally confirmed that it wasn’t until after he dropped his smashing single that people assumed Davido started rolling with him. He said “people thought David started f*cking with me because of Finesse, they don’t know we had already been before the song”
