A farmer in Ondo State, Eric Olowokande is on the run after hitting his wife with a heavy blow that sent her to the great beyond.
The couple was said to have had an argument which descended into fisticuffs and Olowokande punched his wife, Mojere, sending her crashing to the floor.
The incident reportedly occurred in Yaba Street in Idanre, Idanre Local Government Area of the state.
Although the victim was said to have been rushed to a nearby hospital, she was confirmed dead by a doctor.
After the fatal blow, Olowokande vanished into thin air.
But the Ondo State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), ASP Tee-Leo Ikoro confirmed that the suspect has been arrested.
He added that investigation has also commenced into the incident involving Olowokande and his wife.
