An American woman, Priscilla Ann Ethridge, 66, has been arrested for shooting her 46-year-old son.
The duo were reportedly arguing over a cellphone when the son took his bicycle and stormed off.
The sexagenarian mum, who thought her son took the disputed phone, entered her car and raced after him.
Ethridge reportedly drew level with her son and opened fire with a gun she carried with her.
Luckily, her son was not killed in the incident and she was nabbed by police for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
She’s being held on $2,500 bail.
It was later found that the angry mum left the phone where it was charging at home.
The incident occurred in Florida.
