Belgium coach, Roberto Martinez has vowed to defeat Brazil as both teams gear up to battle for a semi final berth in the ongoing FIFA World Cup.

France picked up the first semi final place after defeating Uruguay 2-0 on Friday afternoon.

Speaking ahead of the game scheduled to kick off at 7pm Nigerian time, Martinez admitted that Brazil have the advantage because of pedigree.

However, the Spaniard noted that Belgium have what it takes to snatch victory from Coach Tite’s team at the Kazan Arena.

He said, “They know how to win World Cups, they’ve done it more than any other nation so they have that psychological barrier out of the way.

“Of course we want to win and we’re going to try to win. The most important aspect tomorrow is our chance to play in the quarter-final.

“We want to enjoy our game.”
