Croatia beat Denmark in a 3-2 penalty shootout on Sunday night, causing Denmark to crash out of the ongoing 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Denmark’s Mathias Jorgensen scored first but the scoreline was levelled by Croatia’s Mario Mandzukic at the end of extra time after which they won the deciding series of penalty shootouts.
