Japan and Senegal played a tie as both team scored 2 goals each during their second group H match on Sunday afternoon.
Senegal’s Moussa Wague secured a lead for his team in the 71st minute but Japan’s Keisuke Honda restored parity 7 minutes later.
With this 2-2 scoreline both teams still have a chance to advance further in the tournament.
