A pig renowned for correctly predicting match results and outcomes of world events has predicted a semi final appearance for Nigeria at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Known as Mystic Marcus, the pig correctly predicted Brexit, Donald Trump’s presidency as well ad results of matches, its owner Juliette Stevens claimed.
According to its latest prediction, Mystic Marcus has pronounced Nigeria, Belgium, Uruguay and Argentina will reach the last four of the global football showpiece.
Daily Mail reported that Mystic Marcus made the predictions by gobbling up apples bearing the flags of the nations.
The predictions will sound like music to the airs of Nigerian fans, many of whom are skeptical of such incredible achievement, as no African nation has ever reached the last four of the World Cup.
It remains to be seen whether the Super Eagles will break the jinx.
