World Cup Qualifier: Wike Pledges to Pay Super Eagles $20,000 for Each Goal Scored

Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike has promised to pay Super Eagles $20,000 per goal if they defeat visiting Sihlangu of Swaziland in their 2018 World Cup qualifier in Port Harcourt.

Secretary to the Rivers government Kenneth Kobani made this revelation while delivering the message to the team yesterday.

The national team Twitter handle tweeted “Rivers State Government pledges $20k per goal against Swaziland. #SoarSuperEagles.”

Kobani urged the team to ensure they do all it takes to be victorious.
