Senegal has been eliminated from the World Cup tournament after losing to Columbia.
Although Senegal approached the game with vigour, the Colombians were able to snatch a needed lone goal to win the match and advance to the last-16 stage of the tournament.
Senegal’s loss means all African teams have been knocked out of the global football showpiece.
