Kogi: Yahaya Bello Nominates SSG , 17 Commissioners (See List)

Kogi state Governor, Yahaya Bello has nominated 17 commissioners for screening.

This is coming few weeks after the governor sacked all his political appointees.

However, in spite of the reshuffle in his cabinet, Bello has retained Dr. Folashade Ayoade-Arike as Secretary to the State Government (SSG).

These are the names of the commissioner nominees;

3. Abubakar Ohere
4. David Apeh
5. Joseph Okwoli
6. O’Neil Ejigbo
7. Idris Musa
8. Wemi Jones
9. Fanwo Kingsley,
10. Isah Idachaba
11. Ozigi Deedat
12. Bashir Gegu
13. Abdulminu sadiq
14. Dr Saka Audu
15. Adewale Victor Omofaiye
16. Fatima Buba
17. Gabriel Olofu

The Governor has made an appeal to the state House of Assembly to speed up the screening process in order to kick start government activities.

Bello promised to deliver good governance to the good people of Kogi state in his second term

“In this second and concluding term of my constitutional tenures as governor, it shall be the principal preoccupation of my administration to deliver good governance”  said Kogi state Governor
