Kogi State Governor Elect, Alh. Yahaya Bello was issued certificate of return by the Independent National Electoral Commission today.
The ceremony which was quite elaborate had many political stakeholders in attendance.
The Resident Electoral Commissioner in charge of Kogi State, Alh. Haliru Pai in his opening address appreciated efforts of all the stakeholders who teamed up to make Kogi election a success story.
The representative of INEC National Chairman, Professor Antonia Sibi who presented the certificate of return to Bello insisted that INEC will continue to adhere to the principles of free and fair elections.
Bello also promised to develop the state and unite its people.
