Nigerians engaging in internet fraud have become the butt of jokes on 85 South Show, a popular black podcast in the United States.
Podcast hosts, D.C. Young Fly, Karlous Miller, and Chico Bean laughed hysterically as they highlighted the “Nigerian prince”, credit card, and other forms of fraud associated with Nigerians.
It all began when a female guest, Demetria Obilor, disclosed that her father was Nigerian and asked if any of the hosts had ever been to the West African nation.
When one of the hosts indicated an interest in visiting Nigeria, Obilor, who currently hosts the Sporting News 7 podcast, explained that there were “beautiful women” in the country, perhaps to further pique their interest in the most populous black nation in the world.
And then the mockery began accompanied by raucous laughter.
One of the hosts said, “I tell you the fact, a lot of people scamming in Atlanta (are) Nigerians.”
