Skin lightening entrepreneur, Dencia is embroiled in a N40 million theft saga involving her former sales girl, Pearl Chuks.
Pearl Chuks in her own statement confessed to stealing huge amounts of monies entrusted to her by Dencia from the proceeds of their business.
Pearl stated that she gave her ex-boyfriend, Abiola Akinlonu N9.6 million and $13,000 for various expenses such as shopping, starting up businesses and turning up at the club.
She also claimed to have given her mom close to N3 million for upkeep and spent small sums on her father as well.
Pearl Chuks first came into public glare in 2014 when she accused Tonto Dikeh of purchasing luxury goods from her and not footing the bill. That incident brought a lot of negative publicity for Tonto, who was at the time seen to have been using her star power to frustrate a struggling entrepreneur.
What must be on Dencia’s mind now?
Well obviously she’d like to have the rest of her moola back. N40 million is not beans, and it seems the money has gone up in thin air.
