Yinusa is Engaged, can’t marry Ese – Abductor’s Father

Following the discovery of the 5 months old pregnancy in the belly of the abducted 14-year-old Ese Oruru, fresh twist to the story has emerged.

The Father of Yinusa, also known as ‘Yellow’, Ese’s Abductor, has declared that his son can not marry the Bayelsa teen. He continued that his son Yinusa is already engaged to another girl in Kano.

Dahiru Bala, the 55-year-old father of Yinusa in an interview with News agency, Vanguard, at his country home in Kauyen Tofa, Kura local government, Kano said he did not support the relationship between his son and Ese because it was riddled with illegalities.

He said; “There was no marriage between my son and Ese Oruru because it is illegal.” He continued that he personally had reported the relationship between his son and Ese when the 25 year old Yinusa informed him of his plans to elope with the teen lover.

“I promptly reported the matter to the village head and on their arrival they were taken to his home who in turn reported to the District Head at Kura, headquarters of Kura local government area.”
