You Are Under The Influence Of Evil Spirit, Golu Tells Jibrin

The Chairman House of Representative committee on legislative budget and research, Timothy Golu has accused the suspended former Chairman, House Committee on Appropriation, Jibrin Abdulmumin of being under the influence of evil spirits.

Timothy Golu made the disclosure following the allegation by Jibrin that each member of House of Representative takes home N20 million every month as allowance.

DailyTrust reports that Golu asked Jibrin to bury his head in shame because he was not consistent with his lies.

He noted that Jibrin needs prayers because he is trying to tarnish the image of other house of rep members.

“He is under the influence of evil spirits who have taken over him,” he said

“Jibrin needs serious prayers. He keeps using one lie to override the other. Let him swallow his pride and bury his head in shame. Two weeks ago, he said we get N10m monthly. Today, it is N20m. He will soon get to N100m. There is nothing he can do to pain Dogara in his imagination because the entire House of Representatives is stoutly behind the speaker.

“Jibrin is not fit to be a leader to people because he lacks decorum, decency, maturity, discipline and composure. He has exposed his childishness and instability by the way he conducts himself.”

He noted that Nigerians mock Jibrin on a daily basis but he is too blind to see: “He does not understand the implications of his being a nuisance and he is a Nigerian who is living in the past, where any behaviour goes. He deserved the suspension placed on him, which followed due process.

“He does not believe in team work. The work of the legislature is that of team work, strict peer review and internal checks and balances, but he lacks the legislative temperament, exposure and composure. Having money is not a yardstick for good leadership or getting counted among the wise. We used to see him as a wise person but not anymore.”

Jibrin is expected to meet with the twitter community today by 1pm in Abuja to have what he described as ‘no hold-back’ interaction.
