A seven-year-old suspected member of the Boko Haram terrorist sect has been arrested by the Civilian JTF while heading to the Internally-Displaced Persons (IDP) camp in Dalori, Borno State.

According to Daily Post, the suspect was headed to the camp, where he planned to carry out an attack, before he was arrested on Sunday evening with an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) and some mobile phones.

A member of the CJTF who joined in interrogating the boy said the suspect was accosted because he looked “suspicious”.

The report said the suspect confessed to being given the device by a man who was carrying many IEDs, whom he did not know his location because he met him on the road that day, for the first time in his life.

The young suspect asked for food to eat before he could talk more, Daily Post quoted the CJTF member as saying.

Recall that two teenage female suicide bombers attacked an IDP camp in Dikwa, Borno State, on Tuesday, February 9, killing 58 persons and leaving 67 others injured.
