Zlatan Ibile Reveals He Quit Smoking Four Years Ago
Nigerian rapper Temidayo Omoniyi, popularly known as Zlatan Ibile, has disclosed that he quit smoking four years ago.
The “Zanku” hitmaker made the revelation during an interactive session with fans on Snapchat, where he responded to a fan’s question about whether he still smoked.
“A day can’t pass without someone asking me this question,” Zlatan wrote. “Yes, I quit smoking four years ago. And I have no issues with smokers.”
The rapper’s disclosure adds him to a growing list of Nigerian artists who have publicly announced quitting smoking or making efforts to do so. In recent years, music stars such as Don Jazzy, Peruzzi, Tekno, and Kizz Daniel have shared similar decisions.
Davido also declared in 2018 that he planned to quit smoking soon after being inspired by Don Jazzy’s successful lifestyle change.
Zlatan’s revelation has since drawn praise from fans who commended his discipline and commitment to healthy living.
