David Beckham Suffers Heavy Backlash For ‘Worst Performance’ In King Arthur Movie

Footballer, David Beckham has come under heavy criticism by fans after he made his debut acting appearance in the highly-awaited summer blockbuster, King Arthur.

The 42-year-old footballer and father of four made his silver screen debut which fans have described as a disappointment and branded it the ‘worst performance’.

The reaction comes hot on the heels of the release of the movie trailer which made its way online on Tuesday.

Social media quickly went into a frenzy following the release of the trailer as some fans of the much awaited movie took to their page to write on the poor performance of the footballer.

One of the social media users wrote: “This is the worst piece of acting I have had the misfortune to witness.”

Another added:”Just heard a clip of Mr David Beckham in the new King Arthur film oh god it’s cringe…”

Another chipped in: “Pray for King Arthur! 14% on Rotten Tomatoes. David Beckham can’t even save the film. Guy Ritchie not made a good film since Snatch,” someone tweeted, then added “I think David Beckham’s cameo in King Arthur has kind of put me off watching it.”

And in addition, one more user noted: “The only thing I took away from King Arthur is that David Beckham can’t act. And I think I already knew that.”
