Following the visit of seven governors to the Nigerian president in the United Kingdom, one of the delegates has spoken up regarding the Nigerian president’s health condition.
Speaking after the Wednesday visit to Buhari in UK, the Nigerian governor according to Sahara Reporters stated that they were all delighted to see the president once again.
The governor was reported to have stated that the nation’s president is in a “much better shape than earlier speculated.”
He added: “Yes, the illness had a taken a toll on his health,” stating that the president is however in control of all his faculties.
Speaking on the president’s speech, the governor said: “I did not notice any remarkable change in his voice.”
Speaking further on the meeting, the governor noted that himself and his colleagues enjoyed their sumptuous meal with the president adding that they further advised the president not to rush home but to wait and follow the counsel of his medical experts.
“After all, he has left the country in a very capable hand, fiercely loyal, competent, cerebral and unambitious.”
